The key to effective treatment of headlice is careful removal of all the nits. The nits are those timy white things that cking to the hair shaft. They are actually empty egg cases of the louse. Use a fine tooth comb and get all of them out. Wash all linen in hot water, soak or boil brushes or combs for at least 10 minutes. Anything not washable like stuffed animals, put in a large trash bag, tie it up, and leave it for 10 days.
