I am now in week 39, 2 centimeters dilated and 80% effaced. Today the MD said that if I have not delivered by my next appt he would suggest membrane stripping. So, my question is to MDs and medical personnel as well as moms that have had this procedure are there any thoughts or input on this procedure. I am getting a bit nervous about the whole idea of delivery and this doesn't help.
