PCOS

I have a question regarding PCOS. I am very, very irregular with my periods. I am currently at cd 63. I have ovarian pain daily, sometimes it gets quite painful. I am seeing my ob/gyn for irregular periods and I was wondering if he could check this out to see if PCOS would be the reason I am irregular. If so, how would he check and what would he most likely do to get rid of the cysts? Would he prescribe Clomid? One last question... Would PCOS qualify as an infertility problem? I know that it is a fertility problem, but I don't want the visit coded as an infertility workup because my insurance bites, if you know what I mean. If treated to regulate my cycles, what should I anticipate him doing?

Thanks so much in advance.
