I am 38 weeks and 3 days today, and for the past two or three days, I have felt mild menstrual-like cramp feelings and my back hurts. I'm not in a lot of pain, but it gets uncomfortable. At my appointment on Thursday, (38 weeks), I was dilated to 2 which I had been since the last Thursday (37 weeks). I was just wondering is this what labor feels like in the beginning, and is there any way to know if I will go soon? Also, I was wondering what it means to getr your membranes stripped?
