Most of the time, here in the US, once labor is stopped and mom and baby are stable, we do not keep mom in hte hospital, but send her home on bedrest and maybe medications. YOu should talk to the doctor -- sometimes, with a difficult social situation (like long distance from the hospital), a woman may be kept in the hospital
