OK, since sunday I have been having labour signs - i lost my plug, have had very very soft bowel movements after ever meal, have been getting a lot of pressure and having pains that i think are contractions - although just when i think they are regular they stop, have been having a very little bit of blood sometimes when i wipe since i lost my plug, feeling very very anxious, not able to sleep, backache (very low and nagging) and also a sharp shooting type of pain that i think (dr says) is my cervix....When i saw the dr at 39 wks she did not do an internal, she hasnt so far but all of these things are making me thing it will be soon my questions are these, can i have sex after i lose my plug? is there anything i can do to try to encourage labour - it has been almost a week and i am exhausted and starting to feel a bit discouraged? any comments/advice? i would really appreciate it - thank you
