I am 24w and just diagnosed with irritable uterus. I am having very frequent contractions with no change in my cervix (at least at this point).

Does this mean I am no longer low risk? I feel maybe I should ask the midwife to refer me to an OB. Is this necessary? I am terrified of pre-term labor. Please advise.
