I miscarried in Aug and was just perscribed prometrium for short leutal phase (25 days - ovulation day 17-18. Last cycle I began taking it about 5 days after ovulation and stopped when my period began a few days later than normal. I now have my period and it has lasted longer than usual for me. I had several days of very dried dark looking blood to begin with then a day or two of very thick dark red blood and then a few red blood days and again dark dried blood for a few days and now I have red blood again this evening. I don't normally bleed for more than 4-5 days but I am now at day 7 and counting. I am 31 years young. Is this change due to the progesterone and should I be concerned? Thank you for any help you can provide.
