More QuestionsFrom: Rena (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 31 Oct 2000 12:16:41 -0600 (CST)
I finally made an appointment to see my ob/gyn about my irregular cycles. I have been keeping my BBT charts for 15 months, since I got married, just because I knew I would need them one day. My husband and I have been unable to concieve this whole time. My BBT charts show no indication of ovulation. I can't afford infertility treatment because of insurance issues. But is there anything he can give me to make my periods regular, that won't interfere with ttc and won't cost me a fortune? I know my insurance company said that they would not pay for any infertility testing or clomid if that was prescribed for infertilty. But they said if my ob/gyn would prescribe it to regulate my cycles, they would cover just the prescription. Can he do that? Prescribe clomid to regulate my cycles from looking at non-ovulatory BBT's and knowing my irregular cycles?
