I heard the heartbeat at 12 weeks. The doc said it depends if your uterus is above the pelvic bone yet, whether you can hear it that early or not. I believe, but am not certain, that baby's heart rate is usually between 130-160. Mine was at 154, which they told me was real good for this early.
