I am 9 weeks pregnant. I saw my doctor today, because I could feel what felt like a growth especially when I am standing. She told me that my cervix had dropped. I was told that as the baby grows, the cervix would be pulled up, and there was nothing to worry about. But I am still worried, and don't know exactly what to do or what is the reason for the "Dropped Cervix". My doctor also told me that this happens to older women, i.e., above 45. I am 33. Could some one who knows about this, explain about my problem.
