Stillborn 21wksFrom: Kelly (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 30 Oct 2000 11:29:23 -0600 (CST)
I'm 43, with 3 previous healthy children, never had a problem with the pgs or delv. I delivered my 4th baby still born at 21 wks. I'm relatively healthy, 5'6", 148lbs,I do take HB pressure med. before and during my pregnancy(aldomet), but it was always under control. 2wks before my baby died it had a strong HB of 152. The lab work done on the afterbirth said it was Chorioamnionitis. I want to get PG again. Is there any way to maybe build my immune system to avoid this in the future. Everything I read states how women are not treated for gbs until as least 35wks. I lost my child at 21wks, are there any methods of prevention for earlier termed pregnant women? If anyone could make some suggesions I would appreciate it very much.
