I've had herpes for over 15 years which I got from an ex-boyfriend who fooled around on our relationship (the bum!). Now, I'm married to a wonderful man. Anyway, I've been TTC for a while. I occassionally have out breaks every 6mos - 1 year. Most the times it is right after my period. My question is...does anybody have information on how long the medicine stays in the system? If I have a breakout should I cancel trying that month since I've taken medication to calm the out break. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks
