Pregnancy

I have a lot of questions so please bear with me.

When you go to the doctor for a pap smear, can they tell if something is wrong with your ovaries when they "feel" of them? Do they get to see the ovaries? Also, is it possible that they can see endometriosis?

Could someone tell me about the Answer OPK? I have such irregular cycles and I haven't been able to get pregnant in the last 6 months. Do they work really well? I have heard that they don't guarantee ovulation. Why not? Don't you only have an LH surge if you are o'ting? If I detect a surge and time intercourse correctly, what are the chances that I could get pregnant? *Assuming I ovulate.*

One more thing... Since I am so irregular, I really never can estimate when I will ovulate. The last few mornings, week actually, I have been waking up with such cramps that I just knew my period was going to come but didn't. Could I be pregnant?

Thanks so much to anyone who could help me.
