The doctor has said that when the abortion was performed, the second egg had not inserted into the tube, indicating that when I became pregnant I had twins. He is saying that the abortion only got one of the two eggs. I have never heard of this before. > >Well, this is definitely one for the books. The pregnancy I have now, as the doctor says, was either what I explained above, or when I had sex near the end of May, another egg became fertilized and that was not found during the abortion. I am hoping that the baby is just bigger than normal and the conception date of the end of May is wrong. He seems to be telling me that eventhough I was pregnant, I ovulated again, near the end of May, and became pregnant again. The abortion did not find the egg that was fertilized in May. This sounds so strange.
