I am no MD but if it makes you feel any better I am currently taking Zithromax while 36 weeks pregnant. As the doctor told me, it is not only safe to take while pregnant but it would be worse to get really sick and try to deliver since I am technically considered full term at this point. Ultimately I would imagine that if you are well and your immune system is strong, things would be better overall for your health preconception and post.
