Keep in mind that your uterus did not know that the pregnancy was in the tube. The lining of the uterus becomes thick and plush for the embryo. With the loss of the pregnancy, that lining has to be shed. This will result in bleeding and cramping, usually like a heavy period. Given the HCG's, it would seem like an ectopic pregnancy to me...
