Today when I went to the Ob for my 34th week check-up I just happened to mention that I have not been sleeping that well at all. The MD that was seeing me in this rotation (I go to a large practice) suggested I use Ambien to help me sleep. Now I of course trust him but am curious what are thoughts from other OBs regarding this medication. I have pretty much started to accept that irregular sleeping patterns a general lack of sleep may be nature's preparation for when the baby comes. Any thoughts on this medication??
