I am going through my second miscarriage, I know I will probably never know why I am miscarriying but I just wanted to ask a question. I heard a good heartbeat 2x this pregnancy. I was 15 weeks pregnant when I miscarried. I had worked 3, 12 hour days and went shopping all weekend, spotting turning red on Sat, brown again on sunday then miscarriage Monday. Earlier that week I had spotted light brown after intercourse, Sounds like incompetent cervix? Well I'm not so sure. My ob had put me on prometrium for the first trimester and I stopped taking it after week 12, could it be that my placenta never started making the progesterone to support the pregnancy?? Do people take the prometrium for longer?Throughout the whole pregnancy?
