Help, I was prescribed medication, and then found out I was pregnantFrom: Angela (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 3 Oct 2000 12:44:38 -0500 (CDT)
I have been sick with morning sickness for 2 weeks straight. I didn't know I was pregnant and just thought it was the flu. I went to the doctor, because I couldn't hold anything down, and was very dehydrated. The doctor never asked if I could have been pregnant or anything, and I didn't suspect. He prescribed me meclizine 25 mg which I took for over 4 days to help my nausea. After not getting better I took a pregnancy test and it came out positive. I called the doctor, to see if this could have endangered the baby, but they closed for good, and the doctor is no longer in practice. No one will give me any information, could meclizine hurt the baby? Please help me, Angela
