Kidney and bladder infection,weak cervix, low fluid, WHAT'S NEXT...?From: Andrea (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 2 Oct 2000 18:44:28 -0500 (CDT)
Hi, I am 6 months into my first prgnancy. I have been hospitalized once for a bad kidney and bladder infection and was put on lots of medicine for that. The next week I had to got to the doctor for a check up and found out that I had a weak cervix and was put on medicine for that. I also found out that day that I had low amniotic fluid and was required to drink lots of water. Well I went back last week and I still have low fluid. I am now advised to lay on my left side and to drink atleast 64 oz. of water a day. I do not know how this will help because I have to urinate alot more now too. I am having problem after problem and I am just nervous about the next one that arises. Also, they say it is a girl, but I do not see how they see this, is there anyway to tell? If someone could write back to me in concern of this letter, that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Andrea
