Miscarriage, hcg levels, ovulation, and new pregnancy?From: Megan (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 29 Sep 2000 10:50:29 -0500 (CDT)
I miscarried on 9/3 at 10 weeks of pg. I did it naturally and have had my hcg levels checked each Tues since then. They have been 1100, 71, 11 and then 5 for this last Tuesday. I am almost positve I ovulated last Tuesday on cd 17 or Wednesday cd 18 after the hcg test of 11, according to my chart and an opk. (my chart can be found here: http://www.lifecyclesoft.com/cgi-bin/chart.pl/u583m?cycle=5) My hcg test this last Tues was 5 (taken on cd 24). I have heard that you cannot ovulate with hcg in your system. Could the hcg have left quickly after that test and then I ovulated? And could it be possible that this hcg level was the result of a new pregnancy? Thanks! Megan
