Do baby animals of other species suffer from SIDS?

Hi there, I am curious to know if other baby animals (like a cat or a dog) suffer from SIDS. Is SIDS a condition that affects humans only? It seems that other animals almost smother their newborns. (Like when a puppy is feeding from it's mother's breast or chickens hiding out under a mother hen's wing.) Does anyone know if there has been any research on this?

Thanks. Jenny.
