Pregnancy and childbirth after cerebral aneurysmFrom: Stephanie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 25 Sep 2000 10:33:37 -0500 (CDT)
I would like to now the risks of Pregnancy and natural childbirth two years after having surgery for a cerebral aneurysm. My husband and I are planning on starting a family December 2000 and I have been concerned about natural childbirth (pushing) and the risk of pre-eclampsia combined with a left carotid artery occlusion. Should we be thinking about a cesarean rather than natural. What would you recommend? I can't find any information on the internet.
