My Sister-in-law is 6 months pregnant and there's been a stomach bug going around her house. She finally got sick last night and was up most the night vomiting. This morning, she started getting a nosebleed with the vomiting. She called her doctor who wanted her to go to the hospital because (and this is all 3rd-hand) "that can also be a symptom of _______", but no one can remember what the blank was. What is the significance of a nosebleed with vomiting?
