I have had very good results with this for my patients with severe back pain. The dizziness and head rushes are most likely do to momentarily insufficient blood flow to the brain. During pregnancy, the regulatory mechanisms that ensure that our brains have first dibs any blood (and oxygen) are altered to favor the uterus more than in the non pregnant state. This means that sometimes there is not enough to go around for a moment or two. You can limit this natural problem by making sure that you are well hydrated.
