My friend just gave birth 2 weeks ago and is suffering from HUGE hemorrhoids. Lancing didn't work so she needs surgery but is in the process of moving to another state this weekend and will have to put off surgery until after the move. In the meantime, she is wondering if it really is OK to take Percodan and/or Darvoset for the pain while she is breasfeeding. She was given these but is concerned about the effect on breastfeeding her baby and would like other Dr.'s opinions.
