99 degrees should be fine. It's recommended that water not be hotter than around 100 degrees during pregnancy because elevated body temperatures during pregnancy have been linked to neural tube defects. By the way, I used our outdoor hot tub with both of my summer pregnancies, but with the heat completely off and the jets on...it felt great! :-) Tonja
