Pay attention to contractions. Anything where your abdomen tightens up for 30-45 seconds and then relaxes could be a contraction. Any pain or fullness or heaviness or anything else that follows that pattern could be a contraction. If you have 4 contractions an hour for 2 hours in a row, you should see your physician before the third hour is up.
