Sore throat at 34 weeksFrom: Heather (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 31 Aug 2000 12:35:27 -0500 (CDT)
Hi everybody, I am 34 weeks, and currently have a sore throat and swollen glands plus some achiness. The doctor has told me to try robitussin, but I am famous for sore throats that get worse and turn into bigtime flu. Would it be a bad idea this far into the pregnancy to use antibiotics? Or, would letting this run it's course without them be better. I just don't want any type of infection to harm the baby. Please, any input would be so very appreciated!!!! Thanks.
