Hi, Today when I got up I noticed that I was leaking just a little bit of fluid...not a lot - just enough to dampen the underwear and make a wet spot...this was after I went to the bathroom. All day I noticed it - the same thing, I would move or turn and feel something leaking a bit. I called my family dr as I have not seen my obgyn yet and he told me to go to the hospital. I went there and a dr looked at me - told me that my amniotic fluid looked ok (through ultrasound) and the did a test with a speculum...she said she thought but could not be sure (she said it is very hard to be positive about these things) that it was mucus (is this discharge??) and that it wasn't a rupture of the membranes. she said that she could see fuild there (when i coughed) but that it didnt appear to be coming from the right area for it to be anything but mucus. She told me to watch for signs of infection and watch the baby. My qeustion is this...If this constant trickle keeps happening, how long should I wait before seeing the dr again - or should i try not to worry?? I just cant help but be concerned. thanks
