My daughter contracted viral meningitis last summer while in the Army Reserves. She is now 23 weeks pregnant and has just been released from the hospital after spending a week in preterm labor (premature onset of contractions--no dilatation). Anyone know if the 2 have anything to do with each other? No reason was found for the PTL. No UTI, Beta Strep was negative, etc. Aill appreciate any info you have. I am an L&D RN but have not had experience with meningitis.
