Ovulation after early miscarriageFrom: Amy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 23 Aug 2000 10:52:00 -0500 (CDT)
I am 27 years old and recently (two weeks ago) had a mis-carriage at 7 weeks into my pregnancy. After talking to my doctor he informed me that I could start trying after 2-3 cycles. While I know 2-3 cycles does not seem like a long time, it's a long time to me and my husband as we are excited and anxious to start again. Do I really need to wait for 2-3 months before trying again? My next question, when does ovulation occur so soon after a miscarriage? Is this the reason for waiting 2-3 cycles? I would greatly appreciate any help and or advice. Thanks!
