PIH & Induction

Is it typical to induce at 37 weeks if the mom to be has PIH?

I had my son at 38 weeks and I was hoping that I would go into natural labor before then. I am concerned about the interventions necessary to induce labor and the risk associated with them.

So far my labs for liver/kidney have remained normal and I have only trace amounts of protein in my urine.

At times my b.p. has been as high as 160/99 and that is when they have checked for liver/kidney and other stuff. I have been on bed rest and baseline b.p. have been about 145/85-90.

TIA, Ann-Marie 36.4 days
