Being "slightly overweight" should not cause you to have recurrent
pregnancy loss. It is certainly optimal to be in good shape going into
pregnancy, but in the most recent paper I have read regarding early
pregnancy loss, obesity was not one of the major risk factors.
It is likely that your losses were unfortunate coincidences. Keep in
mind that 25% of pregnancies are lost to miscarriage. Having one loss
does not place you at risk for another and even having your two in a row
does not place you at a significant risk of loosing a third...
