Sian, The fact is that the baby is a very efficient parasite during this stage of pregnancy and will take what it needs from you, even to your detriment. I would not worry about the weight gain at this point. Just concentrate on getting down liquids, then solids. Being at 13 weeks, you should be close to resolution of this problem and then there will be ample time to worry about weight gain... Lynn
