problems with no symptoms?From: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 4 Aug 2000 12:09:25 -0500 (CDT)
I am 31 and had a normal pregnancy 3 years ago. I am now 9 weeks pregnant(confirmed), with no problems and the normal symptoms. My first examination isn't for a couple of weeks, and although I know there's no reason to worry, I'm wondering how often an u/s is the first indicator of a non-viable pregnancy that seemed healthy. Sometimes? Occassionally? Rarely? I don't think there are any statistics here--I'm wondering about your impressions based on your practice. Until I hear that heartbeat (which may be awhile longer b/c my uterus is tipped), I feel very tentative...am I being unreasonable? Thanks for any information!
