I am the mother of a nine month old girl. While pregnant, I developed a pretty large rectus diastisis (over 4 fingers wide), which is still present today. I also recently noticed an abdominal hernia-it is fairly small, not painful, and I can push it back in. Should this be repaired before I get pregnant again? Are the two related? Any help would be appreciated as I plan on trying to get pregnant this fall. Thank you very much for any help.
