Not enough info to give any specifics. Ther are lots of resons for protein, including mucous discharge in the urine. If there is a concern, she will need to have a 24 hour urine collection to determine how much protein she is losing. Depending upon the amount (more is bad) sopme things can be treated, others just need to be watched carefully. The prognosis really will depend upon the results of teh 24 h urine and finding the cause.
