Howdy. I've been toying with the idea of training as a midwife. It seems that there is a lot of charge surrounding the issue of midwife-assisted delivery as opposed to having a medical doctor deliver a child. I am looking for some good arguments which would indicate that midwifery is _not_ the way to go. I am basically just looking to be as informed as possible before thinking seriously about any training. Any anti-midwife info you have is appreciated (and won't be taken personally!). Thank you!
