ADL -

I'm sorry to hear of your loss!

Just ran across some research by a famous Miscarriage researcher (Prof. Regan) here in Britain on the subject of treatment of your difficulties with aspiring and heparin:

As soon as those woment with positive APA results found out they were pregnant, they started taking low-dose aspirins tablets - 75 mg daily. Scans were repeated until fetal heartbeat was seen. At the point a fetal heartbeat was seen, these women began taking low-dose heparin injections in addition to the aspiring dosages, twice daily. This treatment continued until 34 weeks when treatment was stopped altogether. They found that in teh women taking aspirin alone, miscarriage rates fell from 90% chance of miscarriage, to 60% chance of miscarriage (i.e NOW 40% of the women taking this had a successful pregnancy. For the women taking heparin as well as the aspirin, the live birth rate rose to 70%.

I thought this might be of interest to you. It is from a book entitled "Miscarriage: What Every Woman Needs to Know - A Positive New Approach" by Professor Lesley Regan. I highly suggest that you take a look at the book if you are interested, it is full of so much helpful information.
