Re: BBT InterpretationFrom: Rachael (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 31 Jul 2000 12:36:05 -0500 (CDT)
If your temp is already up, it is too late to conceive. Ovulation occurs 1-2 days before the temp goes up. In general, with a 40 day cycle that looks like a roller coaster, you might not be ovulating. Now I know this might sound scary, but really you should take your charts to you doctor and have him/her look a them. I read from cover to cover Toni Weschler's "Taking Charge of your Fertility" and while it explained a lot to me, I found that I was more confused than ever when trying to read my temps, ovulation pain, and cervical mucous. How long have you been trying to get pregnant? We've been TTC for 3 months now with no luck... So I know what it's like! I already have one child, though, so I don't feel the urgency that some women do when it takes them longer to conceive. Best wishes to you!
