Been charting for two months: Last month's charting involved up one day and then down one day through out whole cycle. Ovulation appeared to be on 28 day of a 40 day cycle. This month's was not as smooth:temps continue going down a few days then consistent at one temp for two days etc. Today (Day 28) temp peaked at 98.5 (noticeably the highest point throughout the charting) from yesterday's 97.4. Does this mean Ovulation has already occurred and is it too late to TTC? When would have been the optimal time...day 26 or 27 or even today or tomorrow to try? Different nurses/drs. opinions about timing of O have me a little confused and any advice would be helpful. Also, is it a problem if hubby claims my secretion is a bit acidic and burns afterwards? Is it a problem to TTC if it appears cycles are 40 days and O occurs so late in the cycle? What to do? Thank you!
