I have had both an abortion (2 years ago) and a miscarriage requiring a d & c (8 years ago) but I am now 10 days away from giving birth after conceiving naturally. Also a number of my friends have conceived after having an abortion. I'm sure one of the doctors on-line will be able to reassure you that, unless you had an infection after your abortion (and even if you did it still doesn't necessarily mean you won't be able to conceive), then it shouldn't be preventing you from becoming pregnant.
