LOL Dr. Marchbein! I eat 4 eggwhites for breakfast with toast every
morning for breakfast and since I caught wind of the eggwhite theory a
few years ago in relation to trying to conceive, I've had to really to
work to block it out while I'm pouring the whites in a pan! :-)
And no, I've never seen any studies personally that confirm the success
of using egg whites as a cervical fluid substitute (and yes, my
curiosity got the better of me and I actually searched!), but I do know
that many women swear this is what resulted in pregnancy for them. I've
heard of women using infant medicine syringes to "inject" the eggwhites
further into the cervical canal, BTW!
