Please Help: Is treatment successful or not???????From: Angela (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 29 Jul 2000 14:53:27 -0500 (CDT)
Just wanted to let everyone know what happened at my appointment yesterday. So I sat down with the doctor yesterday to discuss having a baby. We will be starting in the month of August. My treatment will be: Continue the MET. I will be givin Provera to kick in my period, then I will take the clomid starting the day 3-7 of my period. On day 11 from the time my period started I will go in for an ultrasound to see where I am if I am even ovulating. At that point he said he would give me a HCG shot. Then insemination will take place (there was so much info that I am not sure if the insemination is that same day). After the insemination, during the 2 week wait to find out if I am pregnant or not I will be inserting progestrin to keep the lining strong. Has anyone gone through this process and been successful. I am really afraid of multiples, not twins but more than two. I am also very afraid of miscarriage or defects. WHat is the success rate with this process? Please let me know of any experiences.
