Home Pregnancy tests (hpt) measure the amount of HCG in your urine. You produce this in increasing quantities as your pregnancy progresses. If you are still late for your period and a faint line appears twice, you're pregnant! If you want to, wait 2-3 days and test again. The HCG should have continued to double each 48 hours or so and the more HCG you have, the darker the line will be. Schedule an appointment with your ob asap and start taking your prenatal vitamins and folic acid. Congrats!
