I doubt that you have a group B strep "INFECTION". If you did you would have high fevers and be very sick. Most likely what was meant was that you are one of the 20% of all normal pregnant women who carry Group B strep in their vagina. Around 1 in 400 of these will have a baby that gets an infection. We can cut that in half by giving antibiotics to the mother during labor. RDB
