In other words, what prompted the testing, i.e. was there a bad pregnancy outcome, was it recurrent pregnancy loss. Additionally, it also depends on the lab testing performed. For those patient who I determine warrant heparin therapy, I begin the heparin at the time of positive pregnancy test. However, there is really no ground lost by waiting until 6 weeks for confirmation of fetal cardiac activity... Lynn
