Is progesterone supposed to continue to rise throughout 1st and 2nd trimester? I was on supplements until a few days ago because I did IVF and my level was relatively high (80 ng/ml). I had it checked today (10w2d) and it had fallen to 42. Could the drop be attributable to discontinuing supplements? I was on 1/2 cc of PIO daily. Is it possible my placenta isn't ready yet to take over progesterone production?
